Las Vegas Funk

by Scarlet Leave a Comment

This couple went around their hometown, Las Vegas, for their engagement shoot. I love that their photos have great variety because they were able to capture big city excitement and desert chill vibes. They posed in front of the city lights and busy streets. They also caught the beauty of the desert mountains. The amount of fun these two had on their engagement session must have been immeasurable. Go ahead and browse their gallery!

The Engagement Shoot:

We wanted to portray the love and excitement we have in our relationship while having fun around our hometown.

The Location:

They are the most beautiful and unique spots in Las Vegas that represent our interests.

Our Outfits:

We wanted to focus on nature and comfort.

On Posing For the Shoot:

It was awkward at first, but got more comfortable over the 2-day shoot. The wind made some poses really difficult on the mountains.

Our Wedding Experience:

We were married at my family’s hunting lodge in rural Louisiana. It was elegant, but relaxed and super fun. There were many personal touches that made it unique. The best choice we made was having our dear friends write and perform our ceremony. It was so fun and sincere.
