Sean and Lisa are both inclined in fitness and met at a triathlon. They had fun during their engagement shoot posing, twirling, and running into the sunset. It was chill, casual, and utterly romantic — you can certainly see it in their gallery below. If you want to have an engagement session but you are worried about posing in front of the camera then take it from Sean and Lisa, just have fun. Have an ordinary conversation together with your partner and let your photographer take candid photos. To this lovely couple, stay in love and fit!
“I wanted to represent this couple’s fun and at ease nature with each other. There was a lot of giggling and a lot of jokes. Throughout the shoot, they joked that they needed to have bikes or be in running gear or something. They both met running triathlons, so I thought it was important that we also included at least one running shot!
I love that these two met through exercise and continue to employ that love into their day to day lives. They still run triathlons together; they still train together, and through this I feel their relationship has an incredible sense of support and strength!”

The Outfit Inspiration:
“Well, initially we were thinking of having a casual fall themed photoshoot but it turned out to be 90 degrees that day! We ditched the boots, rolled up our jeans and threw on our flip flops.”
The Location:
“El Capitan Canyon has always been a favorite ‘escape’ for us, and we have been staying there for years. It is beautiful and so close to town yet it still allows you to reconnect with nature and each other.”
A Hint For The Wedding Day:
Above all things, we want our wedding to be ‘US’. We want to be casual and real with each other and our guests. So I suppose that our photoshoot says the same thing- we don’t want to portray anything that isn’t normal for us and our relationship. It’s all about having fun and celebrating our relationship. 🙂
