The Most Awesome Invitation. Ever.

by Niki - Inspired Bride 2 Comments

As much as I love my invitations (which I just got the other day back from Hello!Lucky… more on that later), I think I nearly died and went to heaven when I saw this on the Merriment Design blog:

Merriment

This fantastic invitation is actually a book, designed by the bride (a graphic designer) with the help of some very talented friends, that chronicles how they met and their time together. It cumulates with the formal wedding invitation and a letterpressed perforated RSVP postcard – already stamped – that the guest can simply tear out, fill out, and mail. For more photos, and a how to (not for the faint of heart – if you’re not a graphic designer and don’t know someone who is, I wouldn’t tackle this project without hiring a professional!), see the entire post here.

I’ve always wanted a storybook invite for my wedding (which isn’t going to be anytime soon). Thanks for this post! Great inspiration.
