Colorful and Dainty By Men

by Chelsea 1 Comment

Bridget Sharp Photography has shared with us today a wedding that’s got lot of DIY details to swoon over. I’ve never seen a wedding as heartwarming as Carmen and Zane’s. They have really great family and friends who helped them plan the details of their special day. Speaking of planning, the groomsmen made the floral design and other significant DIY projects.  This specially made the day colorful and dainty! Congratulations on tying the knot, Carmen and Zane! You are blessed to have wonderful family and friends!

Extra Special Details

DIY wedding flowers. Carmen’s maid of honor and her groomsman/husband are just starting out in floral design. They made all the floral arrangements including the bouquet and the boutonnieres. The use of anemones really made the bridal bouquet stunning. (We heard the groom might have helped!) The use of blue thread on the stems of the bouts – lovely!

The coffee bar.  The “white chocolate iced coffee” was a nod to Carmen and Zane’s 1st date. Zane asked Carmen out to coffee and she said no at first, because she was trying to cut out coffee. Then she decided that she might just want to! She was so shocked he asked her out in the first place!

DIY photo booth sign.  It was made by one of the groomsmen. The photo booth was a great way to really get everyone to relax and have a great time.

Robins egg blue wedding shoes? Why not! Carmen absolutely nailed it!

The send off.  Carmen and Zane left the wedding venue to their guests tossing dried flowers that were in cones that Carmen’s mom made from an old hymnal. The dried flowers were extremely colorful and dainty.
