Are you considering including your pooch in the wedding day festivities? Those of us with pets know that animals can be part of the family. Of course we want to include them! However, a pup can seriously complicate plans. A dog sitter can help you gracefully include your favorite fur baby on your special day. Here’s how.

A Pet Sitter Can Managing Potty Breaks

Sure, you usually have no problem making sure your fury fella gets plenty of pee breaks on a normal day. But on your big day, you and your partner are going to have A LOT on your minds. Between greeting and thanking guests, posing for photos, and cutting it up on the dance floor, your schedule will be jam-packed full of goodness. A pet sitter can make sure your pup is part of the party, while at the same time you won’t need to be checking the time to make sure he doesn’t have accidents.

If you have a dog that likes to jump, it’s important to have someone around to handle him or her to make sure your guests are happy. Give your dog sitter the photographers schedule, so that you can make sure your pet is right there when it’s time for family photos. You might even want some animal-only photos. Delegate that to the sitter — tell the sitter when and where to show up for the photo shoot, and ask the sitter to help your fur baby look their best — brushed, fluffed, and ready to go.

It’s a lot of fun to have a pet with you on wedding day. They’re a part of your family, so of course you want them around!
