DIY Rustic Golf Course Wedding

by Junabelle Leave a Comment

We are bringing to you the most beautiful, vintage DIY inspired wedding at North Links Golf Course in Mankato. I love the theme and how everything coordinated so well even if it only took four months for the bride, Lindsay, to plan. It was indeed a blast. A budget friendly yet with a high class feel, this  wedding is a great inspiration! Big thanks to Studio Freyja for sharing with us how beautiful was Lindsay and Joe’s day!

Extra Special Details

A book that is a treasured keepsake for them to always remember their vows for each other.

Vintage porcelain figurines was the red thread that tied all of the tables together throughout the reception.

The vintage camera used to capture fun guest memories.

The key tree with notes from friends and family.

The bride’s wedding dress were found at a local consignment shop and the bridesmaid dresses on an online boutique.

The simplicity of the baby’s breath bouquets the bridesmaid had to accompany their patterned dresses.

This was a fall wedding, but the colors and decor could easily fit a spring and a summer wedding as well.

Tips from the Photographer

♥ Make a mood board of designs and ideas that you like. Put it all together to see if it makes a cohesive look and start shopping for decorations after that. That way you don’t end up with a ton of pieces that don’t match and won’t be used.

Money Matters

$10,000 – $20,000

From the Photographer

As a professional wedding photographer I love capturing the love of my couples. Although I take on a portrait approach where I do a lot of posing during formals, I try to make them interactive to capture spontaneous moments and real feelings. I work in San Diego, CA and it’s surrounding areas as well as in the Greater Twin Cities in MN. I do love to travel however and accept wedding requests from all over the world. My average customer spend between $3000-$5000 on wedding photography with me, not including potential travel fees. If brides and grooms to be are interested in learning more I would love it for them to visit my website www.studiofreyja.com and fill out a contact form. That way I can give the ma call and setup an in person meeting or online meeting so we can get to know each other. A personal connection is just as important as a great portfolio in my opinion.
