Vintage Meets Southern Flare

by Car Leave a Comment

Ever wonder what it would be like if the vintage theme meets the southern flare? That’s exactly what happened in today’s featured showcase. Jessica and David had a delightful spring wedding at historic Homestead Manor in Franklin, TN. This southern venue was the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. Their colorful palette of fresh floral arrangements complimented the fresh blooming day of spring. Tag along and experience a fresh and exciting inspiration through these gorgeous photos captured by Andrea Hallgren Photography. Enjoy!

We’re All About The Details

One of the major details of this event was the wonderful photography. This is an area where you would want to invest to ensure you get great results. The day goes by so quickly and what lasts after all are your wedding photos.

Her wedding shoes are offbeat. It’s such a small detail, but she bought those elegant blue ballet flats covered in crystals and they were her “something blue” that made her feel extra special!

David and Jessica were married at Homestead Manor in Thompson’s Station and the beautiful historic home as a backdrop and the mature trees that almost formed a canopy over the ceremony were amazing.

The last detail that really made it perfect were the flowers.

They had these sweet mason jars hung on shepherd’s hooks flanking the aisle during the ceremony and they were a nice touch that added some rustic charm to our outdoor wedding.

Heed this Advice

The first piece of advice I would share is to have fun! I know that is very easy to say and very difficult to practice in the moment when you are picking out table linens and seating arranagements! But this day is a celebration and you want to have a great time!  The second piece is to get a coordinator that is on top of things. My coordinator was completely on the ball and I did not have to worry about a single thing on the day of the wedding. It definitely takes a lot of stress off of you and allows you to better enjoy the day!
