I think by now it’s pretty well established that I’m a sucker for great pastry design. It’s natural, then, that Long Beach, California-based Sweet and Saucy Shop has recently made its way into my heart. Not only is everything they do ridiculously cute and well-crafted, but they’re incredibly versatile too. Their wide variety of pastry options make them a must-visit if you’re looking for someone to supply a dessert table or if you’re looking for wedding cake alternatives.
If you’re in the area, go and make me feel jealous by taking one of their one-on-one pastry classes. If I were around, I’d be there in an instant – but alas, I’m not!

ahhh…I hired Sweet and Saucy early in our wedding planning process. Melody is truly talented! I cant wait for our upcoming wedding in June!
OMG, I saw that cake with the bird topper forever ago and fell in love with it! I couldn’t remember where’d I’d seen it and I’ve been desperately trying to find it again so this is perfect! Please, please, please tell me you guys know where that cake topper is from?!?!
Julia – I’d get in contact with Melody, the owner of Sweet and Saucy – she’s probably most likely to know 🙂
