Starry Wedding Night

by Chelsea Leave a Comment

Hey, inspired brides! Today’s featured wedding is definitely a feast for your eyes! When Luna and Asher planned for their wedding day, they knew they’d incorporate their love for the sky and celestial elements. Wedding planner and designer Kim of Ebeling Events was all for it! She obviously poured out her heart into the details and everything turned out so on point! Read on about what she and her team had done to pull off a dreamy starry wedding night and grab some inspiration too from these photos by Emma + Josh!

From The Planner

Luna & Asher met when they were visiting the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, CA with some mutual friends. They hit it off immediately and started dating, frequently visiting the observatory together. Their love for the sky was only surpassed by their love for each other. These two young lovers knew they wanted to have an evening under their stars with celestial elements throughout when it came to their wedding day. As a wedding planner and designer who focuses on outdoor, sustainable weddings, I knew we could have so much fun with this concept. We designed the shoot to capture all the beautiful elements of the night sky from the navy blue and gold colors to the sparkles, stars, and moon features. All the vendors knew that the theme needed to be incorporated into their offerings and made it an extra special evening for this couple and their guests. From the sparkles in Luna’s eyes and her amazing star dress to the beverage cart serving sparkling wine topped with blue cotton candy and the amazing moon backdrop, they were all elegantly decorated with gorgeous flowers and décor. Every detail was considered, so the celestial feeling of dancing in the stars would leave the couple floating on cloud 9.
