Rustic Chalkboard Wedding Sign to Add that Country VibeWant that country vibe to your big day? A DIY rustic chalkboard sign will do this job. This cool craft idea is beautiful addition to your wedding reception. Guests feel very much welcome once they see and read this pretty décor. If you are planning your wedding this year, you must prepare the materials found below and follow the instructions.

What you need:

  1. floral wire
  2. flowers
  3. different kinds of leaves
  4. scissors
  5. plywood
  6. chalkboard paint
  7. transfer paper
  8. chalkboard pen
  9. scotch tape

Cut and arrange the leaves as a garland and secure them using floral wire. Make sure to layer the leaves to fill up the gaps.

Step 1: Cut and arrange the leaves and tie them together using floral wire.

Cut the ends of the flowers and put them on the garland using floral wire.

Step 2: Cut the ends of flowers and tie them on the garland using floral wire.

Cut the plywood into 2”x3” and paint it with chalkboard paint. Let dry.

Step 3: Paint the plywood with chalkboard paint.

Cover the board with transfer paper, secure it with scotch tape.

Step 4: Cover the chalkboard with transfer paper.

Print the template of your desired writing and put it on top of the transfer paper. Using a pen, trace your template on the board.

Step 5: Trace the template on your board using chalkboard pen.

Using chalkboard pen, put the finishing touches on your writings. Then, secure the garland on top of the board.

Step 6: Once done with the writings, secure the garland on top.

And you are done! A rustic chalkboard sign to welcome your beloved guests.
