Reminder: Postage Rates Rise May 11

by Niki - Inspired Bride 2 Comments

If you’re stateside, please take note that as of May 11th, 2009, standard postage is going to take a rate hike from 42 cents for 44 (thank you, kind folks at Martha for reminding me to post this – I knew it for myself but kept meaning to post it here for everyone else!).

If you’re not lucky enough to have an RSVP date prior to the rate increase (my lucky self, prior to the hike being made known, settled on May 10th as my latest date… phew! Cutting it close.), try a forever stamp. That way you won’t be over paying on RSVPs that come in earlier and won’t be risking not getting them in time if they are underpaid. Sure, they’re not the sexiest stamps on the planet, but it beats the headaches later on!
