The Perfect Summer Palette: Marigold and Navy

by Car Leave a Comment

Today’s featured wedding is definitely an eye candy! When you live in a country flanked by the Atlantic Ocean and the Delaware River – New Jersey, you tend to be creative enough to enjoy the fairly moderate climate, with cold winters and warm, humid summers. Justin and Jamie’s sun kissed wedding is the perfect inspiration for summer loving couples who want to tie the knot in this glorious season. You will certainly feast your eyes on the creative details you will see in this color palette. And these details are simply divine. We’ve got Brad Resnick Photography to thank really–his lenses captured the awesomeness of this sun-kissed inspiration. Enjoy!

We’re All About The Details!

Jamie and Justin were both born and raised by the beach. That being said, they wanted their wedding to be close to their home in Beachwood. Jamie and her girls got ready in the house that Jamie grew up in, surrounded by nostalgic memories.

The Wardrobe

Jamie is wearing a laced white sheath wedding dress handmade by her loving and talented mother.

The mix of modern style and the classic antiques are seen through their wedding elements.

Wearing a classic navy blue suit, Justin paired his apparel with brown leather shoes and a blue checkered tie.

The boutonnieres looks really fancy! These yellow spherical bud arrangements are made by Jamie. It accents their wardrobe perfectly.

The Ensemble

In order to continue to capture the essence of Jamie and Justin’s day to day life, the spot chosen for their first look was the pier at Admiral Farragut Park, where Jamie goes running every morning.

Justin is a noted gentleman and these special gifts are the expression of his chivalrous passion. A nifty addition to the wonderful mantrimonial ceremony.

The Bouquet

Her talking poesy is an arrangement of yellow spherical buds, white roses and gorgeous sunflowers wrapped into a hand-ties bouquet. A very creative mix of classic with exotic flowers that looks really awesome! Another masterpiece of Something Nice Floral Designs.

The Invites

Keeping up with the overall theme, both Justin and Jamie wanted it to be fancy and subtle at the same time. Their invites are made from traditional materials decorated with their wedding elements but presented in a very creative way. This will surely inspire those do-it-yourself fanatics out there!

The Cake

Decorated with floral designs , this elegant cake from Chocolate Carousel is no less than perfect!

The ceremony took place in the charming St. Gertrude’s Church in Island Heights with beautiful accents and decorations made by Jamie. After a quick champagne toast in front of the church, the wedding party piled into the bus and headed off to The Sterling Ballroom in Tinton Falls to dance the night away. Congratulations, Jamie and Justin! You guys sure know how to throw a party!
