Up, Up and Away: A Helicopter Elopement

by Chelsea 1 Comment

We’ve seen many elopements here at the Inspired Bride but Maria and Marco’s is one for the books! The couple headed to a mountaintop that overlooked a glacier where they exchanged their rings and vows. Their day started on rocky ground as their pilot said chances of flying were low due to a bad weather. However, Maria and Marco were not moved. With fingers crossed, they took their chances and went up, up, and away! And viola,  their helicopter elopement dream wedding came true and ended up with these amazing and magical photos!

How They Met

Maria and Marco first met while Maria was working at Marco’s family business. Maria worked in the office and Marco worked in the warehouse. Marco’s uncle saw a possible spark between the two and would make the pair eat lunch with him every day. “Eventually he stopped coming,” Maria recalls, “but we didn’t care. Four and a half years later in Italy in 2019, Marco asked me to marry him!” The couple loves to watch movies together and hang out with one another’s family. They define themselves as not taking anything too seriously and love to make jokes together. One of the more serious parts of their relationship is their relationship with Christ. They go to church together every Sunday. Maria believes that their faith in Christ has brought us together more than anything.

Beautiful pictures capturing a unique and unforgettable moment that will last forever. Marco and Maria’s wedding pics are breath taking. One can see the connection between their love, nature, and God. I have not seen anything more beautiful and worthwhile
