A backdrop seems to be ignored by many but its absence seems to make any event lifeless. Backdrops should not be expensive as you can make one with your own hands. Turn those coffee filters to an amazing and adorable illusion of floral.  Read on for instructions.

What you need:

  1.       Glue sticks & glue gun
  2.       Coffee filter
  3.       Mini lights
  4.       Cardboard

If you want, you can arrange the lights beforehand to determine their position afore arranging the coffee filters. Get a cylinder-like object that fits perfectly into the center of the filters. Press the coffee filters around the object creating a base form.

Step 1:Use a cylinder-like object to press down the coffee filters.

Separate all the coffee filters so it will be easy to work. Grab a few coffee filters and push them down together and flatten the bottom which serves as the base.

Step 4:Stick to the cardboard.

Repeat the steps with the other coffee filters. Continue working until cardboard is entirely covered with coffee filters. It is ideal to work from the middle out. If there are gaps, stick single filter to cover.

Step 5:Repeat the previous step until the entire cardboard is covered.

Take the lights. To secure them in place, just push them to the bottom and cover them up.
