The bright sun, bright pink, and bright smiles on this outdoor rustic wedding. If you are an avid reader you know that, here at InspiredBride, we love all things DIY. Today’s inspiring bride made her wedding day her ultimate DIY project! The wedding favors, bouquets, flower arrangements were handmade. She even made the flower girls’ dress! It is something you shouldn’t miss. Check out the photos by Robin Collins Photography.
The Details
The bride made this event her ultimate DIY project. She arranged the flowers, styled the entire venue herself, sewed the flower girl dresses, and handmade a quilt for a guestbook. Yes, they had a guest quilt! Instead of a traditional guestbook, they had guests sign a very special handmade quilt that the bride had labored over for months. The couple also chose an edible wedding favor — Smores! They even prepared a lit fire pit to roast them, which was a huge hit with the kids!
The Attire
The bride was donning a cream a-line dress made of lace and tulle. Her bridesmaids were dressed in blue feminine and elegant long gowns. The flower girls were wearing pink tutu dresses that the bride made. It’s the cutest thing ever! As for the groom and his squad, they wore a vest over a white shirt. They were casual but very dapper! Oh, and don’t forget the floral boutonnieres.
