A Beautiful Mix of Old and New

by Chelsea 1 Comment

While most couples prefer beach weddings, grand ballroom receptions, or just recently, with the Covid-19 pandemic, location venues for elopement weddings, still others go for vintage weddings. If this is your preference, this styled shoot is for you. We love the clean ceremony this setup features as well as the beautiful mix of the old and the new.  From the black and white color combo to fresh flowers and greenery, this is all about creating an airy ambiance at your wedding reception. These choices would go well with your vintage-themed wedding!

Ivy Rose Barn proves to be an amazing venue. It is a 70-acre flower and honey bee farm. A floor-to-ceiling white barn, it was meant to be the perfect backdrop that would-be couples can style to their taste.

A champagne tower, a retro automobile from Carolina Classics Car Rental, and other elements were incorporated in this shoot to achieve a stylish fall wedding.

The model bride wore a lovely satin white gown from Studio I Do with her hair styled to complement the classic dress. The groom wore a simple black tux and bowtie to match the classic look.

Floral arrangements by Blomst Floral Design incorporated white blossoms and lush greenery to adorn the venue highlighting the barn’s fabulous fireplace.

At the ceremony venue, lush greenery adorned the amazing staircase bringing nature into the event place. To highlight the couple, the chairs were set in a diamond arrangement. The sky becomes the couple’s magnificent backdrop as the ceremony takes place.

The glasshouse is the fabulous reception venue. Ivory-colored couches, chairs and tables were set-up with white and black flowers. Ivy-colored linens from The Heirloom Collection also provided a contrast to black matte plates and marble slabs.

The bar area located near the green foliage featured signature drinks. The two-tiered cake by Blush Baking Company retained that classic theme.

Class & Style Productions photographed this Vintage Modern Wedding exuding the style selected for this shoot. If you are inspired by this feature, you may scroll down to see the vendors who came together to make this collab a success!
