You’ll Need
Foam Circles (3 for 3 tiers, 4 for 4 tiers, etc.) in Descending Diameter (14”, 12”, 10” 8”, etc.)
1 Wooden Candle Stick Holder for each tier.
Spray Paint in Wedding Colors.
Wide (1.5”) Coordinating Ribbon
2-4 Pieces Silver Poster Board (available at any craft store.)
Hot Glue Gun
Step 1:
First, use the foam circles as patterns and trace 2 of each on the poster board. Cut those out so that you have a top and bottom for each foam circle. Glue the poster board circles (shiny silver side out) to the top and bottom of the foam circles. Trim up any uneven sides.
Step 2:
Spray paint the wooden candle stick holders in the color you chose and allow them to dry for up to 10 hours. Finding the center of the bottom foam circle, hot glue the candle stick holder to the circle and make sure it’s secure before moving on. The 2nd to bottom tier will be glued to that candle stick holder, and then a new candlestick holder will be glued to the top, and so on.
Step 3:
Using your wide ribbon, run it along the sides of the foam circles, gluing it the entire way. This should completely cover the foam parts and the edges of the silver board, so that it looks polished and neat. You can also create bows to place on the front of the holder if you choose.
