As much as I love this wedding of Tory and Brooke, I am equally in awe (and perhaps a bit jealous) of our bride’s wedding gown made by the one and only, Vera Wang. What I even love more is how our bride carried it throughout the day. Despite her dragging it on the sand and sitting and posing on wooden planks, it did not diminish the elegance and beauty and you just knew that this work of art was truly made for someone as beautiful as our bride. But moving on, this wedding had some details that celebrates upcoming holidays – Christmas balls as place card holders and plenty of fairy lights all around. Can you feel the Christmas vibe yet? Congratulations Tory & Brooke!

Photographer:
For two people who love as deeply as Brooke and Tory do, a wedding is a cherished thing. Right from the moment we met them, we knew that their wedding was going to be special, and we were honored to be part of such a personal occasion. Brooke and Tory’s wedding was perfectly intimate. It began with Brooke getting ready with just a few friends (and her only bridesmaid) and her mother and one month old daughter in attendance at the Jacob Bond House in I’on in Mount Pleasant. Brooke was radiant in a ruffled, strapless Vera Wang gown. Personal touches included Brooke’s grandmother’s ruby and diamond ring as the “something old” and Brooke’s sorority pin on her bouquet. She exuded class as she boarded a Black Cab to take her to her wedding – an ocean front ceremony on Folly Beach! She was escorted down an aisle of seashells by her father, to wonderful weather, violin music playing, and to the man of her dreams.

The reception was held at the Jacob Bond House as well, in a beautiful and intimate patio complete with indoor/outdoor seating, a fountain and a small garden. The tables were detailed with silver tree branches draped with strands of crystals, and the cake was silver and thoroughly sophisticated. Name cards were held up by ornaments, and in lieu of a wedding favor, the couple made a donation to a local no-kill shelter. After a moving first dance that was first shared by Brooke and Tory, then made to include their baby girl, came the dancing. This was followed by loving speeches from the best man and maid of honor. At the end of the night, Brooke and Tory were seen out by sparklers, to the cheers of their closest family and friends.
