This colorful and whimsical wedding is just one for the books. Every detail, every color, and ever decoration is just something you’d definitely want for your own. And all of these awesome things is topped by how lively and adorable our couple is. They’re willing to strut and pose and look adorable in front of the camera. Couldn’t be more perfect even if they tried. Congratulations Jessica & Adam!

What is your story as a couple, how did you meet & fall in love?
We met right after both of us got out of pretty long term relationships. We were both hesitate to start up a serious relationship right away. But, after a few months, there was no denying it, we were meant to be together.
How did he (or you) propose?
My now husband, was in the navy and was stationed in Florida. I was living in California, where I am from. It was valentines day weekend. He secretly flew to California, with the help of my family. My family brought me to have brunch right by the ocean. We were waiting for our table, standing by the water, and all of a sudden he started walking out of the ocean, in a wet suit. He was scuba diving the whole time I was there. I ran to him and he got down on one knee and proposed, on the beach.
How long was the planning process? Did you think it was enough time?
I started planning in April 2013 and we got married in June 2014. I felt that I had enough time. However, we did get married at a venue that took care of a lot of things for us. I told the owner what I wanted and she took care of the florist, cake, food and decorations.
What was the best advice you received when you were planning your wedding?
It is supposed to be fun, the small details won’t matter in the end, enjoy it. Also, don’t be afraid to spend a little more on your photographer, the photos are all you have after the big day.

What were some challenges you faced while planning your wedding & what did you do to address them?
I was across the country for a large portion of the wedding planning. I had a fantastic coordinator with my wedding venue “Jones Victorian Estate” in Orange, CA. She took care of a lot of things for me.

Our first Dance.
Was there any Do it Yourself (DIY) projects? If so, can you describe them in detail?
My mother in law make home made jam for favors. We made a chalkboard sign for my nephews to carry down the isle that said “Here Comes the Bride”. I ordered a bench online, it was turquoise and wood. We had everyone sign the bench as our guestbook. We then lacquered the bench with a clear coat. This bench will be in our home forever.
What were the highlights from the ceremony & reception?
My husband and I wrote our own vows. He put so much thought into his vows, and made them so personal. He promised to buy me ice cream when I’ve had a bad day at work, and to rub my belly when I eat too much.
