To say Karen and Michael had a FUN wedding day is an understatement. The two decided to tie the knot on April 05, 2014 after dating for 8 years. Their wedding was made to be magical and whimsical, the pretty colors, dessert table, and the day at the amusement park (Yup, you read that right). After the ceremony the newly weds, along with their entourage, went to an amusement park to shoot some stunning photos and had fun. If you have time on your wedding day you could also do something similar that would ease the stress or tension.
Sandi Rufo (Photographer):
Karen and Mike were family friends and had known each other since they were 12 years old. Mike waited patiently until Karen turned 18 to ask her out on a date. Since Karen had always had a crush on the 4 year older Mike, she said “yes”. And so they had a double date at Adventureland in Farmingdale. Of course what better place to celebrate their wedding photos is to have it at where it all began 8 years earlier. On their wedding day they were surrounded by their family and friends. Karen and Mike said “I Do” at St. Kilian’s Church in Farmingdale then off for a stop at Adventureland for some fun photos. They danced to John Legend’s All of Me and celebrated until midnight at Fox Hollow, Woodbury.
And the couples advice to any readers out there; “Don’t rush, enjoy each other and everything will fall into place.”
