I can totally imagine a little girl dreaming every details of her future wedding as she looks dreamily at this beautiful pool house one summer day. Then fast forward to a couple of decades later and that girl’s dream has come to reality. This is Sarah, our bride’s, dream come true. She was that small little girl day dreaming this special day. And while technically speaking, Sarah and her groom, Steven has only planned their wedding for less than a month, the fact that this day was envisioned for years is probably one of the reason why the rush plannings produced such an amazing event. Congratulations Sarah & Steven!

This is the story of a girl who hung out at her best friend’s pool house in the summers and always said, “I want to get married here!” And a group of friends and family who love her so much that they made her dream come true a few years later. This wedding was planned in less than a month, but my jaw dropped when I got there. From the beautiful, rustic pool house turned into romantic candle-ceremony to the camellias that adorned the tables that were picked that day from the acres and acres of the blooming camellia bushes, it was just amazing. Besides that, the handsome groom, Steven, owns his own restaurant in New Orleans and insisted on catering his own wedding. Other New Orleans restaurants were represented as well, as many of Steven’s relatives are in the restaurant industry and wanted to pitch in with amazing food. The crawfish boil grooms cake was a wonderful southern touch, as was the beautiful wedding cake covered in camellias. Such a wonderful and warm group of family and friends, and a blessed couple who couldn’t wait to start their life together.
