We are loving this today’s styled shoot & all its playful details by Kaytlin Lane Photography. This wonderfully whimsical shoot took place at the Hamill Christmas Tree Farm in Roanoke, VA. and it features deep and rich colors that would really pop against the green of the trees. The cake was made to look like a geode and really helped to pull out the blue and gold colors in this session.

The tree farm was a perfect backdrop that helped to bring in the beautiful green tones.

Let’s not forget the florals. They were gorgeous! They were the main inspiration for the shoot and the makeup matched the colors perfectly.

Our Verdict

The marsala, blues, and golds complimented each other so well. Oh, so beautiful!

Heed This Advice

Don’t be afraid to mix and match unexpected colors. Start with a favorite and pull in some accents to compliment it. Florals are so important for the day. Even adding fresh greenery and complimentary single blooms throughout the venue is a great way to fill the space.
