Something Of The Past For The Present

by Scarlet Leave a Comment

Today’s inspiration shoot is derived from the 1930’s where sophistication can be seen everywhere. By now we all know why vintage makes us think that way simply because it’s classy and effortlessly timeless. You may have it in this generation it didn’t look out of place. Cassie Peech’s photos proved that to be true. She, personally, looked and styled the dresses. The photo quality (including the filters and presets) are on point. I love it! And may you, our readers, find inspiration.

“I wanted to create a vintage theme so I started going to estate sales and vintage shops looking for real vintage gowns, and dresses. I found the perfect gown at a local estate sale, it even came with a photo of the bride from 1930’s time period. It was in mint condition. I found the “bridesmaids” dresses at goodwill.
My friends in the industry wanted to join in and help. Ali Lee a local makeup artist was in charge of the hair/makeup. I hand made the headpieces and used antique brooches. Carlos Velez helped with hair and makeup on the day, along with styling. Our models were amazing!”
