Moody Woodland Romance Styled Shoot

by Car Leave a Comment

This moody woodland romance shoot was inspired by poetry, vintage details, and masculine touches. Victoria Coffey of Good Vibrations Photography choose a gorgeous outdoor chapel forgotten by time at Legion State Park in Louisville, MS. It was also home to a beautiful pavilion of wood & stone with a fireplace waiting for a fire to warm the space. Leslie from Stockroom Vintage rentals was a huge help in the planning process including creating a stunning lounge area. They had calligraphy signs throughout from the wonderful Lauren of Scissortail Creative Coop. This includes the hand lettered canvas ceremony backdrop. This shoot was filled with organic elements like evergreens & seasonal florals. The bride had two dresses including a stunning red beaded gown for a candlelit dinner beside the fireplace. This entire shoot was filled with mood intimate details like Victorian-styled black velvet choker necklaces & black velvet Betsey Johnson Heels. More of the details through these snaps by Good Vibrations Photography.

We’re All About the Details!

One of our favorite elements & the main focus of the ceremony was the gorgeous hand-lettered canvas backdrop with a quote that was special to the bride & groom. The lounge area styled by Leslie from Stockroom Vintage was seriously gorgeous. When we first saw this beautiful invitation set we were blown away, especially when we saw the way Cynthia incorporated the location into the design. The Victorian-styled bridal jewelry was so perfect for this look, especially when combined with the stunning red beaded reception dress. A personalized wood ring box was also amongst my favorite details.

Take this Advice

I would tell them to be inspired by the things they love the most. Choose seasonal & organic elements to keep costs low. & don’t forget to have fun in the process, get unique, & think outside the box. ~Victoria Coffey/Photographer
