Jess and Andrew are amazingly one of the most lovely, down to earth, happy couples we have ever featured. They both share an upscale, romantic type of style but also know how to rock it as free spirits! Surely they had an incredible time together visiting abandoned buildings on the shore, scaling cliffs by the ocean, and laying in the dunes. This couple is truly full of life, joy, adventure, and spontaneity and their beautiful engagement photos do tell us that in life it’s all worth it to live, laugh and love. It completely shows throughout their gallery!
Special Engagement Details
Furry love. They included their dog (Tucker) in the shoot complete with a bow tie, which is a great way to incorporate furry friends into your wedding process!
Game for anything. They were excited to climb through abandoned buildings, lay in the sand, and just enjoyed this time in their lives while being adventurous with each other.
Helpmates. Jess’s mom and brother tagged along for the shoot – not only to take care of the dog when there were non-dog shots going on, but they also were able to have a blast on the sidelines and experience these moments in Jess and Andrew’s lives.
The Photographer’s Tips!
♥ It’s all okay. You’ve thought about and dreamt about your wedding day for a while…maybe even forever, so you want it to be all you’ve dreamed of. I totally get that! It should be a dream come true. But when I see couples get overly stressed out about every tiny detail to the point where they cannot enjoy the process, it makes me very sad. This should be a wonderful experience. The engagement should be exciting and beautiful and joyous. It is okay to want things to go a certain way, but I can promise you that when you will look back on your wedding and wedding planning, you will want to remember what a wonderful time in your life it is more than you will want to remember than the exact hue of lavender that your napkins were after months of hunting. Relax. Take a deep breath. ENJOY!
♥ Hire vendors you “vibe with”. Getting vendors that are great at what they do is a must, but you also want vendors you can connect with, are comfortable with, and who you trust as human beings as well. If you find vendors with both talent and a personality you can connect with, you will be able to trust, love, and enjoy the people you will be working so closely with on your big day!
