Full disclosure: I love color as much as the next girl. Whether it’s muted and romantic or bright and playful, I love it all. After all, there is no easier way to make a big impact on your decor than to inject some vibrant pops of color throughout it. That said, there is something so dreamy about the absence of color in this all-white wedding inspiration board. Everything has an ethereal quality about it, from the airy bunches of baby’s breath, to the bride in tulle, to the sheer Christian Louboutins (umm, gorgeous). If you ask me, it’s the height of romance and the hopeless romantic in me eats it right up.
A few tips to keep a totally white event from feeling stark or cold: First, use ivories and creams instead of only bright white. It will instantly warm up the room, and it has a more elegant feel. Second, play with different textures. In your tablescapes, try a textured linen (say, lace), or embossed china to add dimension. Consider silver-rimmed glassware for a more formal affair, or for a rustic look, white birch vases to hold your white flowers. The finishing touch? An abundance of candlelight to cast a warm glow. And for the menu, serve food and drinks that keep the color scheme going, but that add some fun and character to your wedding. Mini vanilla milkshakes sound like perfection to me!

Ohh I lurve those shoes in the Christian Oth photograph but do you have any idea where they are from?
Hi Marley – they are Christian Louboutin. But of course 🙂
I love white as a colour scheme, so clean, crisp and natural. Love how the wedding dress looks hanging on the four poster.
What is the name of those shoes! I love them! I looked on Christian Louboutin site and cannnot find them! Thanks.
