Decoupage soap are great and easy-to-make crafts. Today, I will show you how to make decoupage soap on your own. It is amazing to create something artistic using piece of napkin.

What you need:

  1. White bath soap
  2. Paper napkins with printed designs
  3. Medium of candles and soaps/decoupage glue
  4. Brush
  5. Scissors

Since the bath soap come with the label, you need to remove them. What you need to do is to rub the bath soap onto the sandpaper. Do it until the label is entirely removed and the soap’s surface becomes smooth.

Step 1:Rub the soap onto the sandpaper to remove the label.

Now, we will cover the entire soap with medium. Pour a small amount in a bowl, get the brush and apply the medium on the soap. Let it dry. Next, get the paper napkins and cut out the shapes, flowers or decors. In order to effectively remove the excess napkin without damaging the outline of the design, wet the paintbrush and wet along the outline to tear out the extra paper napkin.

Step 2:Cut out the prints from the paper napkin.

Pour a small amount of medium of candles and soaps into a small bowl. Hold the design on the surface of the soap. Use brush to apply the medium over the design. After the design is entirely covered with medium, let it dry. After that, start applying medium again for the second coating. Then, let it dry.
