Here Comes The (Fashionable) Flower Girl!

by Niki - Inspired Bride 2 Comments

I’ve wondered for a while why every single flower girl dress seems the same – and for some reason, they all inevitably have a bow or some sort of midsection ribbon. All the rest of the bridal party gets to look fashionable, but the poor neglected flower girl gets banished to the land of cookie cutter dresses. While it’s true, she’s often not old enough to actually notice this, it’s disappointing she can’t be stylish while age appropriate in her own right. Insert UK-based Monsoon, which has such an awesome collection of dresses that it makes me sort of disappointed I don’t know a girl young enough to be a flower girl! When I say it’s like Anthro gone Mini Me, I mean it – it’s hip, funky, and fabulous. Take a look at my favorites (as you see, I had a hard time narrowing stuff down)…

These are so fashionable and trendy, I can’t even tell they are flower girl dresses!

Given the state of the economy these dresses from a Hight Street retailer are a good idea.

Having said that our friends at Little Bevan in London are seeing their business flourishing – their ‘Mini Luxe’ boutique is doing well.
