Distilled Love – Stylized Wedding Shoot

by Car Leave a Comment

It’s pretty crazy that gorgeous photos always seem to make their way to our doorstep week after week. And here we are again, with our jaws dropping at this awesome work from a group of local, up and coming vendors in Edmonton. They created this dark and dreamy styled wedding set alongside an industrial distillery background – giving this shoot an urban vibe. Almost instantly, we find ourselves enamored by the gorgeous details. This styled shoot caught by Kirsten Stanley Productions is all about the modern approach towards industrial themed weddings that overflows with all the beautiful elements. It’s amazing how surreal this inspiration came to be! So, prepare yourself for an absolute eye candy! Enjoy!

We’re All About the Details!

The Urban Wardrobe

A complete showcase of gorgeous wardrobe prepared by Bailando Boutique and Suits By Curtis Elliott that offers an elegant urban vibe for this industrial styled shoot.

The Bar

The bar simply oozes with elegance and sophistication! Keeping the rich atmosphere of a rustic design into a more modern style.

The Invites

These invites created by Everly Invitations completely shows the wedding planners‘ proof of concept, combining the elegance of modern design with the intricate style from the industrial scene.

The Tableware

The dark color palette used for their tableware is something out of the ordinary but Hansen Distillery‘s table arrangement shows the beauty of it. Watch out for the copper cups and the romantic miniature candles for it will certainly spark inspiration for those who love the dark theme.

The Cake

This is a reinvention of themed cakes! The dark urban concept looks gorgeous in Cake Affair‘s Cake. The metallic design is simply perfect.

The Florals

This interesting posy of beautiful flowers from Bethany Ann Flowers & Styling tosses vibrance to the shoot. Keeping every detail interesting while subtle enough not to overcast the overall theme.

Take this Advice

Sometimes it can be nice to forego the typical wedding structure and make it your own. Always keep in mind why you are having the wedding – to marry the love of your life so relax and have fun! ~Kirsten Stanley/Photographer

About the Photographer
Kirsten Stanley Productions specializes in capturing weddings and adventures with video and photos. Whether it is a wedding or another ordinary day, I look to capture real moments filled with laughter and happy tears. My style would be best described as documentary as I truly believe in capturing an experience as it is, without interfering. This is my approach for both videography and photography. I currently operate out of Edmonton, Alberta and am always willing to travel! While I was the photographer on this shoot, there were many local Edmonton vendors that came together to make this shoot happen. Namely, the brain behind it all was Kelsey Wangler who is one of the owners at MP & Co. Events. They are an Edmonton-based boutique wedding and event-planning firm. Our planning partners specialize in a diverse selection of event planning services. Focusing on professionalism, uniqueness, and a true passion for events, our team can bring any event, whether a small intimate wedding or a large upscale corporate function, from idea to reality. Couples can get in contact with any of the vendors via our websites or social media.
