This is such a chic wedding. Even the cowboy boots of our bride and her bridesmaids looked so stylish paired with their chic gown and pink dresses. Also, the DIY details just fits the rustic feel and the country vibe. The use of mason jars for different purposes is ingenious. These things have been a staple in DIY projects because it makes for some good decorations and glass substitutes – and this wedding surely knows how to fully utilize this container for it completed the chic feel of the whole event. Congratulations to our lovely couple!
Here is what their photographer has to say about this wedding day…
What do you think is the overall story for this album?
The story for our album is two high school sweethearts who literally “weathered” it all to get married and share our love with those we love!
What was your favorite part of the day?
Favorite part of the day, seeing how much fun everyone had the whole night and being surrounded by friends and family.
Was there any Do it Yourself (DIY) projects? If so, can you describe them in detail?
Oh my gosh, most of the stuff (decor-wise) was DIY. The mason jars with the flowers, the wood baskets with the fabric and flowers, the colored pennants on the ceilings, the mason jars with the dried flowers, the favors with the name tags and tea charms and straws were all done by hand, the little album favors were DIY, the picture frames with the table numbers, the rose garland, paper fans, seating charts, etc.
What were the highlights from the ceremony & reception?
Highlight of the ceremony was having it come together indoors despite the rain and the beautiful readings by my gramma and dear friend Malerie. Reception highlights were definitely all the dancing and the bouquet/garter tosses.
Was there a theme for the ceremony and reception?
Vintage Country throughout it all!
