70’s Era Wedding

by Chelsea 1 Comment

Let’s travel back time with this 70’s era wedding brought to us by Terrie Images! This adventurous choice of a theme featured two floral designs: (1) Ombre and (2) summertime-inspired arrangements. The first was balanced and cozy while the second set was bold and enticing! And why choose one when you can actually have both? Indeed, these awesome wedding vendors used this shoot to express their imagination and creativity.  To help you get more ideas, read on and see how they mixed colors for a warm color palette!

1. Ombre (Baby Blue, Azure, Navy)

2. Summertime (Blush, Yellow, Marigold and Coral)

This color palette was very intentional in creating a 70’s Era look with both colors for spring and colors that compliment summer time! Our team included two floral designs, one was Ombre and the other floral design were bright and bold colors for summertime that scream funky fresh! We chose textures that would elevate the color palette. Like the table linens from Kate Ryan Event Rentals, the linen was soft velvet in colors that shaped either a soft look for our spring palette or a bold look for our summer palette. The makeup were a combination of soft looks and one bold look with eye shadow to bring together the color palette! We wanted a 70’s era look with an editorial and high fashion look overall. Every detail was accounted for in the planning process and in the design process. We had an amazing team who all had a love for colors and the 70’s era! – Terrie Nelson
