4 Amazing Wedding DIYs You Can Complete in a Day

by Niki - Inspired Bride 1 Comment

Maybe you want to do your entire wedding yourself, with creative projects and genius ideas, or maybe you just want to complete one or two projects for your wedding. Either way, there are certainly a lot of wonderful ideas to choose from. The following 4 amazing wedding DIYs can help you decide what to choose.

 1. Welcome Sign Cans

This is incredibly easy to do – simply remove the wrapper from a food can, fill it with water and then freeze it. Place a letter stencil on the can and use a nail and hammer to make holes in the can following the stencil. You can then spray paint the can so the stenciled letter stands out!

2. Mason Jar Luminaries

Another super easy DIY, these beautiful luminaries are made by drilling small holes in the cap of a Mason jar and then attaching chains to the holes. Place sand or rocks inside, along with a candle, place the cap on the jar and then hang from a hook!

3. Photo Booth Props

Rather than buying expensive kits, just buy some felt and skewers. Use wire cutters to make the ends on the skewers blunt rather than pointy. Trace different things onto the felt (mustaches, bowties, hats, etc.) and cut them out. Use hot glue to attach the felt cutouts to the skewers.

4. Beautiful Dot Backdrop

This is another great DIY that can be created from those paint color swatches at any home improvement store. Just cut circles of different sizes, and use scotch tape to attach them to fishing line. Hang several of these lines the same distance apart and you’ve got a wonderful backdrop!

There you go – super easy DIY projects you can complete in a day or less. You can be inspired by these particular projects or choose your favorite and recreate it for your wedding day.
