It’s awesome to actually see the transition of events of a real life love story – totally beats romance novels (trust me on that, I’m a bookworm). From the proposal to the wedding, this feature goes to show how practical and smart it is to document moments like these. And we’re lucky today that we get to see both in just one album. I love how seemingly related the two locations are. The bridge where our groom, Nathan, got on one knee and asked for Stefanie’s hand in marriage looks so similar to the venue where the couple had their ceremonies. The wedding was a beautiful outdoor and rustic event filled with adorable burlap details and mismatched dresses. Congratulations on your special day, Nathan & Stefanie!

I had the unique opportunity to photograph this couple’s proposal and their wedding day. It was such a fun experience to follow their love story from one stage to another.
The proposal took place on the campus of Bulter University where the bride-to-be went to school. Nathan (the groom-to-be) contacted me with his plans to propose long before he popped the question and so I was able to capture the moment. It was too perfect.
Then a little over a year later the two were married in Bunker Hill, Indiana which is about a hour north of Indianapolis, IN. They were married at a beautiful outdoor venue called O-Ace-Is. The weather was perfect and the details of the wedding were just too cute.
The bride and bridesmaids got ready in the old mill room which was an adorable setting furnished with all kind of mirrors and hanging locations for the dresses. The groom and grooms men prepared in a new cabin on the property that was finished with antique furniture. We even borrowed some of this furniture for the formal pictures.
The ceremony for the couple took place with the water feature and a large bridge as the backdrop. The bridal party processed over the long bridge to the ceremony location which made for a spectacular entrance. The bride was adorned with a homemade that said “Shrock Wedding”.
The reception took place on the property under an open white tent. The wedding and reception took place starting at 11am so the food served was breakfast. The couple also had mimosas and fresh fruit smoothies for everyone. This reception had no dancing but there was lots of fun lawn games for everyone to play. The reception ended with a beautiful bubble exit. Such a fun wedding for everyone
