Enchanting is the one word I would choose to best describe Denise Fasanello‘s floral designs. Her artful compositions manage to achieve that perfect imperfect quality, where you can sense the care and deliberation that go into each arrangement, and yet the overall effect feels effortlessly undone. It’s like the floral equivalent of Serena van der Woodsen‘s flowing blonde waves – did she roll out of bed that way, or is Serge Normant or another equally fabulous hair stylist hiding in her Upper East Side apartment? But I digress… I can attest from personal experience that, on top of being a true artist at her craft, Denise is a joy to work with — even when she’s faced with a bride’s 35-page flower inspiration PowerPoint – yes, that was me.
