What Kind of Bouquet to Choose for Your Wedding

by Samantha 1 Comment

For some, a bouquet is just a bunch of flowers. Brides, however, know that there are so many different kinds and it’s important to choose the right one. The following bouquet types and pictures should help you determine exactly what kind you want to choose for your wedding.

Pageant Bouquet

This dramatic bouquet works well for formal weddings, and looks great with long and very traditional dresses.

It’s typically held with both hands and draped across one arm.

Cascade Bouquet

A cascade bouquet drips down in front of the bride in a dramatic and beautiful fashion. It can be as long as the bride wants, or shorter, with a smaller hangover.

It can also be made of virtually any flower. It’s perfect for formal and informal weddings, but especially pretty with a plainer style of wedding dress.

Round Bouquet

A round bouquet is one of the most popular types of wedding bouquet. It’s exactly as it sounds – rounded, and jam-packed with beautiful flowers.

This type of bouquet is very versatile and works well with formal and informal weddings, and with traditional and non-traditional dresses.

Hand-Tied Bouquet

Perhaps the most popular type of wedding bouquet, the hand-tied bouquet has a beautiful look that works well with all wedding styles and flower types.

Now that you know the most popular types of wedding bouquet, choosing one won’t be difficult. Picking the flowers that will go into it…well, that’s a different story!

When your’e a short bride; then have a longer bouquet to give you more length and taller brides can go with the rounded and shorter bouquets
