Remember Kelly & Will’s engagement feature back in June? Well, here they are once again — signed, sealed, & married! We always enjoy a good wedding day! And Kelly & Will’s big day is definitely one for the books. This special event of their lives has a lot of sentimental value to it. One of which is the topper on their wedding cake, which was a tea set given by Kelly’s late grandmother. It is a very special remembrance of her childhood wherein she & her grandmother spent countless hours talking over tea. She was actually never allowed to use the small bone china teacup so it was quite a surprise to Kelly when she had set it aside for her when she passed. Besides that, the bride, together with her mom, put a lot of effort in some of the DIY projects of their wedding. She & Will spent months collecting mason jars wherein Kelly & her mom personally designed each & every jar. She even got her students involved by having them donate mason jars too! Kelly’s mom sew her garter to perfection using blue silk, lace, & pearls. And Will’s mom made the ring bearer’s pillows. Even their card box was a labor of love. They found it in a vintage flea market & Kelly’s mom cut triangle burlap to put the blush card stock letters on. They also did the printed programs & painted signs on their wedding. It was a very beautiful wedding day indeed & such a lovely couple too! Thanks again to Swanky Fine Art Weddings for sharing this wonderful continuation of this couple’s happily ever after. Cheers again to Kelly & Will!
