The first night of Hanukkah just over a year ago, an amazing man proposed to one of my oldest, dearest friends. Let’s call her “K.” K had to kiss a few frogs first, but she has certainly found her Prince Charming and I couldn’t be happier for her. K jumped right into wedding planning only to find, like many of you beautiful brides-to-be, that she was being pulled in a million different directions by her nearest and dearest. The lovely girl that she is, K tries to please all the friends and family she cares about so much, which in the case of wedding planning has led her down quite the rabbit hole. She has researched, considered and even visited venues from New England to Mexico to the Caribbean to California to New York City and its surrounding suburbs. The only thing K knew in her heart was that she and her fiance wanted an intimate, meaningful, outdoor affair.
Okay, I’ll cut to the chase already. As we speak, K is in Napa Valley, falling in love with her dream wedding venue. This board is my inspiration for K’s wine country wedding, but more importantly it’s a reminder of what your wedding is all about — the beginning of your life with the person you’re crazy in love with. So try to take a step back when the planning gets tough, have fun, and keep your eye on the prize! (And K, book the venue already!)

I am in love with inspiration week! It has been so fun to see your posts every day. Love the ring in this photo — so unique.
Those centerpieces all in a row are a lovely inspiration image for the color scheme! Can’t wait to see the eventual wedding pics from the wine country.
