Stephanie and Erron’s winter wedding was unequivocally lavished with glam and luxury with much breathtaking frills. With the already dazzling venue perked up with extra sophistication, what more could you ask for? The crystals, chandeliers, and elegant flower arrangements on navy blue and pink were a complete bomb! Get a hold of everything above by browsing through their gallery and be the judge.
Our Story
Erron and I met through a dating service called Great Expectations since we lived on opposites sides of the metroplex. After our first date we realized we enjoyed spending time with each other and always made time for great conversations. We have always been there for each other through the ups and downs of life.
We Are A Perfect Match
We just understand each other and our stories growing up. We can kid around and not take each other to seriously.
The Proposal
Erron took me back out to a place where we had our 2nd date and proposed to me the day after Valentines day.
The Planning Process
We planned the wedding for 10 months. It was ample time for me to plan even though I’m always traveling for work. It did help to have some family members involved with the little things.
The Best Advice We Received
My best friend told me the following: Everything will fall into place – and there will always be something that will go wrong so try not to stress out over the little things.
Tips & Tricks For Future Brides
Make the wedding yours – Try not to have everything you want or mix and match to get the best of both worlds.
The Challenges We Faced
We never faced any real challenges – but the few we did face were the days leading into the wedding – like making sure the wedding decorations were completed and set onto the tables.
Wedding Decor Inspiration
I really wanted simple but elegant decorations with deep vibrant colors. Since we were having a winter wedding it just seemed natural to not have a lot knick knacks on the table. The decorations needed to be minimal so that the guests could all speak to each other during the sit down dinner.
Wedding Outfit Inspiration
I just wanted bold colors and outfits that everyone felt good wearing.
Money Matters
Wedding budget: $20, 000.00 By doing the decorations ourselves and making the flower arrangements simple but elegant, we saved the most money. But the biggest expense was the venue since that is where we had the wedding and reception.
The Guest List
80 people were invited but only 60 people showed up. We narrowed down the list by inviting just our closest family and friends.
The Songs
Canon in D for Brides entrance – A friend of the Erron’s played the violin.
The Honeymoon
We will be going to Greece later in the year.
The Next Step
We are looking to move to a part of the country that is laid back but still close to the big city.
Planning Advice For Couples
Don’t stress – I know easier said than done, but again it will help. Realize that things will go wrong and just to go.
Highlights from the Ceremony and the Reception
Dancing with all our guests and just enjoying their company. One highlight from the ceremony is when the Maid of honors bag was not placed next to my family which had the grooms ring in it. This caused her to run into the other room to get his ring.
Favorite Part of the Day
The entire day – I honestly can’t pick one precise moment – but dancing with all the kids definitely made my day!!! We all were just having fun.
A Memorable Moment
Dinner and dancing. But the kids loved the candy bar just outside the door.
