Lilac, different types of flora, and parasols are what attracted me to this wedding. Andie Freeman was lucky enough to witness and photograph the event. I love the idea of parasols as accessories for the bridal entourage — so spring! Not to mention the cake that made to look like a flower climbed its way around it. It was simple yet on track with the theme. It was a lovely spring wedding for Clay and Christy. Enough about my raves, go ahead and read to see more of what I’ve been talking about.
The Wedding Story:
Christy and Clay were married on a beautiful May day at the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia. They were one of my sweetest couples. You could tell how much they truly loved each other. With each gaze into each other’s eyes, you saw the depths of their feelings.
The Theme:
Spring Elegance
Favorite Part Of The Day:
My favorite part was the first look. It was one of my favorites to this date. The scenery was perfect. The bride and groom were elated to see each other that day.
The Highlights From The Ceremony & Reception:
Their ceremony was a stunning affair inside of the Day Chapel at the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia. I loved how they brought the spring flowers inside to brighten up the wood of the chapel. Event designer, Greg Hall, did and amazing job. For the reception, one of the highlights was their first dance. Again, as in the first look, their love for each other truly shined through.
Most Memorable Moment:
I would say the first look and first dance.
