Fifty Shades of Grey Inspired Shoot

by Junabelle Leave a Comment

It’s pointless to not admit that there’s something about Fifty Shades of Grey. The book’s the fastest selling adult novel. The movie, though, earned different good and not so good reviews. Nevertheless, the first trilogy released on Valentine’s Day of 2015  rocked the cinemas worldwide and in few days from now, the Fifty Shades Darker will be released.  Before you beat a trail to the theaters, take a look at  this grey inspired shoot crafted by Andie Freeman Photography! She did well in taking visuals to modernity.  The colors grey, white and black made every detail so fantastic and gorgeous and now, we are very happy to share it with all of you!

Extra Special Details

The groom –  a mega-rich, very good-looking, ambitious, and intensely passionate.

The bride’s dress was a Sherri Hill gown that is platinum grey incorporated to the dark grey Tony Bowls tuxedo from Perno’s Formal wear wore by the groom plus the sports Rolex from Chandlee Jewelers.

The bride’s hair was pulled back in a simple bun and her makeup featured greys with a pop of Marsala on her lips and nails.

She had beautiful glittering grey stiletto platforms.

The bouquet and the boutonniere consisted of white calla lilies.

The reception table was set up in the Grand Hall of the museum adjacent to a beautiful sculpture by Barry Tinsley. It was covered in a black pintuck tablecloth with a mirrored runner. On each end, we placed tall, black candelabras and there were two calla lilies and white rose centerpieces in square glass vases.

A ruffled ombre grey cake with a sugar calla lily from Classic City Confections on a silver bar cart.

The Signature Drink Recipe and The Hint!

♥ 1 1/2 oz of Grey Goose Vodka, 1/2 Marie Brizard Parfait d’Amore Liquor, 1/4 oz Heavy Cream, 1/4 oz Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice. The Cocktail should be grey when mixed properly.

♥ But here’s a little hint the Parfait d’Amore Liquor is quite hard to find. For a similar taste, you can use Blue Curacao. This will obviously turn the drink blue. If you are specifically wanting a grey drink, a touch of black food coloring from the baker’s aisle will do nicely to turn the drink grey.
