by Scarlet Leave a Comment

If you love Halloween and all things eerie then you are in for a treat! Jessica’s supposed to be engagement shoot turned to a trash-the-dress slash bridal portrait. Jessica and her photographer, Katherine Akers, concocted a disturbing yet elegant story. Such a unique and haunting concept. Read more to know how they came up with this idea!

The story

It was planned specifically for her horses, but we got carried away with another idea when the day actually arrived. The groom couldn’t make it, so we created a funny narrative that he “left her” at the altar. It had been especially warm, but on the day of the shoot, it was the first freezing cold day of the year.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BRIDE UNATTENDED OR THIS WILL HAPPEN!
*we kid, of course!*

A Little Tip!

Don’t try to do too much – keep it simple and make the few things you end up doing extra amazing. Don’t stress – the things that “go wrong” will be the funniest and most memorable of the event. Spend time finding the best photo/video professionals, and don’t be afraid to look for true artists – it’s all you have left when everything is over, and it’s possible to have beautiful works of art to remember the day by and not just a gallery of people smiling and posing.
