Thanks to Design Sponge, I found this fantastic tip for getting a handwritten look on your envelopes when you don’t have the budget for it. With This Ring‘s author did her calligraphy herself by inkjet printing that was a slightly different shade than the envelope itself. Using opaque white ink, she traced the lines of the script font that was printed on the envelopes, giving her the precision of a straighter line, the ease of only having to trace, and the unique line quality of a handmade stroke. Check out the blog post for a more in-depth how-to.
