Blue Wedding Color Palette: Robin’s Egg, White, Tangerine, Coral

by Niki - Inspired Bride 9 Comments

Blue Wedding Color Palette

(Robin’s Egg Blue, White, Tangerine, Coral)

We have all heard it before.

Blue is such a drab color to add in a wedding.
Stick to just one article that is in blue. This is a wedding, not a funeral!

While I do agree that they have a point, we can’t get over how cute this board is! I love the bold tangerine paired with the soft and subtle robin’s egg blue. Opposites on the color wheel – it’s no wonder why these hues pair so nicely together. And the coral adds just a tiny bit of dimension to the palette – offering up another layer of bold color. Certainly more modern than traditional, this blue wedding color palette provides a fun and colorful setting for any late spring or summer wedding. I see this combination best utilized at perhaps a casual and intimate backyard reception full of personal handmade touches like fresh garden flowers picked and placed in vintage bottles and DIY paper garland hanging from the trees. I can just hear the banter of close family and friends going long into a night full of dancing, laughter and celebration – can’t you?
