Here’s one relaxed and rustic styled photoshoot brought by a team of substantial wedding vendors! The flower wall of fully bloomed azaleas and camellias made a great background for the modern eclectic wedding dress. Even the vintage dishes blended with the lace tablecloth and moss of the old wooden table. This whole set-up justified what the team wanted to achieve and showcase — a relaxed and rustic themed wedding. Turn those excited wedding nerves on now, and let’s get on with the planning. Yipee!
Our styled shoot used the theme of the bright colors and the flower wall of Savannah’s springtime when the azaleas and camelias are in full bloom. We thought the woodland area around Skidaway Island was perfect location to showcase the laid back, rustic feel of Savannah destination weddings that are so popular year round.
All in all the shoot was logistically fairly easy to collaborate together with our floral designer, Christy Hulsey. All of our vendors were excited and eager to lend their talents. The rustic nature of the shoot carried through into the tabletops which I felt should feel like a very relaxed Southern garden tea party. The most difficult part was surely the construction of the flower wall.
The focus was on relaxed and rustic that reflected in what can only be described as True Savannah! The strongest components were the flower wall, vintage dishes, and the contrast of the modern eclectic design of the dress. Having a strong wedding vendor (or “friendor” as we like to call it) network made selection very easy and collaboration fun and inspiring.
It’s fun, eclectic, unique and OMG that flower wall is a stunner no guest would ever forget. The words that come to mind are Southern, fun, eclectic, fashion forward, and loves to entertain.
