Nothing beats the casual and traditional wedding rituals of dove releases, white wedding gowns, and royal maroon accents. But, bending the tradition can be quite fun, too! Lindsay and Larry had one helluva Tyrannosaurus Rex running behind them in a photo, of course it was creatively edited by their awesome photographer that looked pretty real to me.! This party sure did a lot of running and that deserves a good laugh. Glasses raised, to more fun and love for you two!
The Album Story
This album portrays the wedding day of Lindsay and Larry. The wedding was at the Outing Lodge in Stillwater, Minnesota, a simply beautiful bed and breakfast hidden away in the country.
Highlights From the Ceremony and the Reception
There were many highlights from the ceremony and reception.
The following are a few examples:
- At the end of the ceremony, the flower girl (who was very young), saw the doves being released, and yelled, “Ooh, chickens!!” It made for a good laugh throughout the crowd.
- The bride got a new car as her wedding gift from the groom.
Favorite Part of the Day
As the photographers, our favorite part of the day was the ceremony. It was beautiful, as it was an outdoor ceremony on a perfect fall day. Doves were released at the end and the entire ceremony had an extreme feel of love and family throughout.
A Memorable Moment
We would imagine that the ceremony itself was most memorable, as they were married and that is something that is incredibly special to couples. The actual marriage itself was most likely the most memorable aspect.
Lindsay and Larry was a very fun couple who wanted nothing more than their day to be fun and casual. They requested a photo manipulation from us after seeing the ever so popular “dinosaur wedding photo” online and asked if we could do the same. Not only were we able to do the same, but the bride and groom and party got very into the shot. It turned out great and the couple loved it. It’s always nice when you can pull of something special for people like that.
