If two southern artistic people marry, what do you get? A DIY-filled rustic outdoor wedding! Cris, a graphic designer, fell head-over-heels over Kaitlyn, an art teacher. He knew within 6 months she is the one. I have always wondered myself what an artist’s wedding would look like and just as I thought it is beautiful! Cris and Kaitlyn’s wedding has got to be their best masterpiece to date. This wedding is an inspiration mine. Have fun!
The Color Palette
Their color scheme balance muted mint and gray with a pop of orange and yellow. Their color palette reflected the beauty of spring. It was such a romantic and relaxed outdoor wedding.
The Decor
Cris and Kaitlyn made nearly all of the little details. From the wedding stationary, their cake topper, to all of the hand painted signs. They wanted to make their wedding as personalized as possible. The thing I love the most is the refurbished shelf for their program holder at the ceremony. I’m totally stealing this idea for my wedding!
The Desserts
Cris and Kaitlyn’s cake topper isn’t the only cute thing on their dessert table. They also had cake pops for everyone to enjoy. A fun sweet treat! The one thing that attracted me is the most are the milk and cookies. I never imagined it to served at a wedding reception.
