I love what our photographer said about bridal portraits being one of the most sentimental and empowering photos a woman will ever take, aside from maternity pictures. Bridal shoots are when the focus is not on the details, color palettes, or food, but on you. You get to see how a wedding gown can truly make you feel beautiful and that the word “glowing bride” isn’t just a cliche but a truth you can own! We love these photos and congratulations on your wedding Cara!

What can I say about Cara that isn’t already completely obvious!? This woman is absolutely stunning in person so my main goal when photographing her was to capture that in a pure, natural way. She’s such a natural in front of the camera and that conveys very clearly in every single pose. When Cara and her lovely mother, Diane inquired with me about photographing Cara for her special day, I was stoked! Bridal portraits are some of my absolute favorites. It’s a time for the bride to wear her gown and just revel in the moment of how it feels to be a bride! On the wedding day, everything goes by so fast and for bridals, they get to slow down and just be beautiful and feel beautiful! It’s such an intimate time for a bride, ESPECIALLY when a family member comes along to see her. It truly is one of the most sentimental style of portraits a woman can ever have taken of herself, aside from maternity. Marriage is a pivotal part in any person’s life, it’s the beginning of something new, and for Cara, capturing these moments for her was seriously my pleasure.
