When wedding coordinators get married, have you ever asked who plans their big day? Mallorie & Blake, wedding coordinators, decidedly wanted an EASY wedding to avoid “working” their own wedding. Bet this day was so special for the two as they were with vendors they’ve known for forever. As for the wedding, you can see for yourself from the photos how absolutely crazy the groom is about her bride. I say this was an incredible day for everyone. Congratulations, Mallorie and Blake!
Their Happily Ever After
Extra Special Wedding Details
The venue. They chose Brookside Gardens, a beautiful venue where the entire wedding can take place. From water flowing nearby to an incredible wood pergola over the ceremony site to chandeliers in the reception room, this venue has plenty of features to create beautiful photos throughout the day.
The pastel outfits. Mallorie chose a Spring style for her Spring wedding that featured a pastel rainbow for the bridesmaids dresses!
As the bride shares,
I have always loved peonies flowers, so I knew I wanted to have my wedding in the Spring time in order to incorporate them into the day. I was so happy that I got to use them for my wedding.
Being a wedding coordinator myself, I knew a lot of our vendors from work and was so happy to have them involved in my wedding. From our lovely officiant, through our talented photographers, our DJ’s and florist, it was honestly the dream team and they made my day that much more enjoyable.
Blake and I decided to write our own vows and I couldn’t have been happier with that decision. It was a lot of pressure to try and write the millions of feelings into a few sentences, but it was definitely worth it!
Having all of our friends and family with us! We had an amazing bridal party, most of mine were from out of state and great friends and family whom traveled to be with us for our wedding. That had to be the most humbling thing to have everyone we love celebrate with us.
Tips From The Bride
♥ Be patient, especially during those last few weeks for the wedding. It was definitely very stressful planning and putting together all of the last minute details, I had to remind myself on multiple occasions to just breathe.
♥ Not everything may fall into place perfectly, but I promise, you will be the only one that notices. Your guests will not notice a flower out of place or centerpiece on a wrong table, and honestly, in the craziness of the day, you may not either.
♥ Plan it with your partner! While I did most of the planning, I asked for Blake’s opinion on everything. We picked our ceremony layout together, table assignments and so much more. It is very helpful to have someone supporting you through it and talk through the details, they may have ideas you are not considering and can be very helpful through the process.
