The gorgeous Tenoroc Ranch was bounty with peaches, greens, and creams on Kellie and Rob’s laid-back and peppy day. Each member of the entourage pranced gracefully in their natural colored gowns and coats, especially the flower girls on leather boots and laces! The wedding arch decorated with baby’s breath and draperies was specially made by Rob, himself. This duo must have felt felicity being wed under it. Ahh, every little thing was perfectly fitted with the whole ranch thing. So, here we are again, bringing you one splendid ranch wedding. Congratulations, Kell and Rob!
The Album Story
Kelley & Rob were married in August at the gorgeous Tenroc Ranch in Salado. Their wedding was filled with peaches, greens, and creams, which perfectly matched the southern venue. The florals were the focused of the detailing which kept the room looking just as lush as the outdoor ceremony.
The wedding was brimming with personal detail, including a table full of images of family members who had passed on, homemade apple and peach pie jars for wedding favors, and the gorgeous arch made by the groom and draped with cream fabric and floral globes made by Ginny Swalley of Creative innovations. One of my favorite moments of the night was the entrance of the bride and groom, which kept with the groom’s Louisiana heritage to include beads, umbrellas, and a whole lot of feathers. This seemingly simple wedding was filled with joy from beginning to end, making it one of my favorite’s of the year.
Wedding Outfit Inspiration
The bride wanted to keep the colors soft and simple. Since the event venue was brimming with natural colors and earthy undertones, so she selected soft greens and peaches for her bridesmaids and groomsmen. Her bridesmaids were all shapes and sizes including a sister who was pregnant at the time, so Kelley thought everyone would feel their best in a design of their choice. The mix-matched bridesmaid dresses are one of my favorite current trends, and I think they absolutely nailed it! The groomsmen sported tan, which was a smart choice for a warm Texas day.
The Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Projects
The arch detailed in the ceremony was built by hand by the groom specifically for the wedding day. It was detailed by Creative Innovations with flower rounds covered with babies breath and draped with linens. It really made the ceremony space more personal.
Highlights From the Ceremony and the Reception
Besides the already stated about the ceremony, the reception was absolutely full of joy and some Louisiana flare! The grooms family is from the great state, and so the bride and groom entered with the full gambit; umbrellas, feathers, and beads. It was a silly moment and led to a relaxed, yet playful reception. The event was a family affair, so there was a lot of love and a lot of crazy dancing throughout the evening!
Favorite Part of the Day
I’m a sucker for ceremonies! The moment when the bride walks down the ailse with her father is the ultimate tear jerker for me. Not to mention, they played the theme from Love Actually! It was so sweet and just a moment marked with pure love. The groom was absolutely stunned by his bride, and Kelley looked so sure and peaceful in those moments. Absolutely stunning.
A Memorable Moment
There really is no feeling that tops the raw emotion of a ceremony. The reception, though playful and romantic at times just can’t beat that! This wedding was truly a union of two people, and two families, as showcased by the tears of joy shed during the heartfelt ceremony.
