Hi, ladies! It’s a wondrous Wednesday and what we have for you today is a wedding brimming with sophisticated bohemian style. If you’re a boho bride, I hope you find inspiration from Frances and Chris’ wedding below!
How They Met
We actually met at a burger café and after chatting, Chris asked me out on a date. One date led to another and we started dating long distance as I was living in country Vic at the time. I’d never met anyone like Chris and after 6 months, I knew that I had to move back to Melbourne. A year after we met, he took me out to dinner and as we were strolling along the waterfront at Williamstown, he got down on one knee and proposed. — Frances
DIY Décor Elements
The boho bride. I absolutely like her look!
The couple wanted a theme that suited the venue – which was quite rustic with rolling country side views and a wedding that was beautiful but warm and joyful.
The bride made the cover for their wedding guest book (from typo), and guests took polaroids and taped them into the book with a message.
She added a touch of rustic twine around the guest’s names and bonbonniere jars as well.
Most of the decoration was also a collaboration between Zonzo Estates and the couple.
The Photographer’s Advice
Start planning early- keep records of everything (spread-sheets). Consider hiring a car vs. expensive chauffeurs. Do lots of research on Pinterest, Instagram and online and make sure you read lots of reviews. Do what you like! Don’t be pressured by other people’s opinions.
